Job Title: QHSE Manager
Grade: N-2
Business Unit: QHSE
Direct Reporting: Managing Director, HKG & SCN
Functional Reporting: Regional Director, HR & QHSE

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE (State the minimum requirements to meet the demands of the job)
Education (academic/professional)
- Degree or Diploma
- QHSE trainings would be required

Years of relevant experience
(local, regional, global, technical/specialized etc)
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Logistics industries
- Minimum 2 years of ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, TAPA project implementation and management

Competencies (knowledge, skills and Capabilities)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Proficient in MS office
- Familiar with relevant industry requirement and needs or expectations in terms of QHSE


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (Responsibilities and expected outcome)
- Establish, maintain, implement and monitor QHSE Management system including programs, policies, regulations, system and operational procedures and promote continual improvements.
- Provide the required advice and consulting services concerning QHSE matters or its implementation and others
- Co-ordinate and lead the internal or external QHSE audits & other related certifications
- Liaise with customer/vendor on QC/QA related subjects
- Participate in the tender process and lead the QHSE part
- Submit regularly QHSE related KPIs to relevant parties
- Ensure corrective actions are taken as a results of any internal QHSE audits, customer complaint/feedback (CPAR), incident reported, management reviews and external audits where appropriate.
- Plan, assist and perform regular QHSE training to all departments where required to ensure adherence to the QHSE management system on all levels.
- Conduct annual management review with all Department Heads and Managers to ensure the sustainability and compliance of the company’s QHSE system
- Reporting to Managing Director on matters relating to the QHSE areas where appropriate
- Responsible to ensure Company’s QHSE policy is communicated to all staffs
- Responsible to ensure Awareness training for QHSE Management system is given to all staffs
- Assist Department Head to set targets and drive Company’s Objectives, targets and Programs which are approved by Management for its intended results
- Act as Security and Safety representative with an aim to reduce accidents and improve safety and secure working conditions
- Any other related jobs as and when assigned by Managing Director
- Manage environmental compliance issues including waste disposal and tracking, permits and pollution prevention
- Assist HR and Insurance agents on compensation claims and return to work program
- Monitor and support the implementation of the QHSE and other QC/QA initiatives in the related entities
