Comprehensive Shenzhen Trading (CST) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cheyenne Products (www.cheyenneproducts.com), which is a leading design, product development and supplier of home furnishings (wood & metal chairs/stools, bath storage, lighting, accent furniture etc.) to large scale US market retailers including Walmart, Target, BBB, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Home Depot etc. and commercial décor furnishings to US market multi-family developers.


CST is searching for a Sourcing Manager that is energized, self-motivated, and prepared to work in a fast-paced and growth driven environment.

Key Requirements
? 5+ years’ experience sourcing and developing indoor wood furniture and commercial products (i.e., kitchen cabinets, sinks, vanity sinks, wood flooring etc.) for US market with a primary focus on large retail accounts such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Target, BBB, Lowes, Kohl’s, Home Depot etc.
? 3+ years’ experience leading product sourcing, product development, compliance and purchase order management teams
? Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese required. Spoken Vietnamese is also preferred.
? Broad capability to lead & execute innovative product designs from concept through initial production
? Wide ranging technical knowledge of the wood furniture, kitchen cabinets, etc. and standard regulations and compliance.
? Extensive knowledge of product sourcing and supplier evaluation strategies.
? Highly organized with strong task follow-up capabilities.
? Outstanding supplier negotiation skills with high level of confidence to interact with factory owners and top managers
? Solid knowledge of manufacturing cost structures including bill of materials (BOM), labor, overhead, etc.
? Four (4) year university degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) or business management from a qualified university
? Extensive MS Office skills with a key emphasis on MS Excel
? Strong inter-personal and communication skills
? Continuous learner
? Possesses keen ability to create, improve, implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
? Understands and applies the concept of teamwork
? Comfortable with frequent and extended travel to supplier locations in Asia including Vietnam, China, Malaysia and Indonesia
? Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
? Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize work.

Primary Responsibilities
? Responsible for the near and long term sourcing and supplier development strategies for wood furniture and commercial décor products
? Develop supplier partnerships to maximize the achievement of the Company’s business goals
? Manage the prioritization of strategic sourcing & product development projects that support the needs of the Company and the Company’s clients
? Ensure that the Company continually sources and purchases products that offer best value with respect to product quality, on-time delivery, price, and service in the market
? Closely collaborate with the Company’s China & US Team Leaders to initiate and complete multiple product development projects as well as understand and remove barriers and obstacles that impact speed-to-market for product developments and production
? Collect and communicate Vietnam-based product development intelligence data to the Company’s relevant teams
? Explore and introduce new suppliers to the Company that add incremental value with respect to product design, product quality, competitive pricing and on-time delivery
? Continually identify and execute projects that lead to product and operating cost reductions
