Essential Functions of the Job:
?Lead, plan and manage the GS FSS.
?Support the operational effectiveness of GS Operations.
?Create and monitor a reliable financial accounting, reporting and cash flow projection process for the countries.
?Create and enforce an strong internal control environment with robust corporate governance procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial / operational data, protection of the company’s assets and compliance with internal policies & statutory requirements.
?Recruit, retain and develop a strong finance team and provide professional / career development. Develop succession plan for the Finance organization (where possible).
?Partner with Director FP&A to compile and analyze the monthly GS results with the focus on expense, capital expenditure and headcount.

Specific Duties and Accountabilities of the Job:
?Ensures business needs are met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs and initiatives; soliciting, evaluating and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
?Be an active contributor in management discussions, providing specific points of view and recommendations to support the business.
?Ensures Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) based on US and each country’s guidelines and regulatory compliance by researching and keeping abreast of changes; ensuring company financial statements and required governmental forms and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
?Perform as corporate conscience to ensure the company’s performance is reflected adequately and appropriately in the numbers.
?Track company’s assets and insurance/security to ensure business continuity.
?Build relationships with outside business partners such as Banks, Tax Offices, Insurance Company, Lawyers, etc.
?Work with other departments to ensure information sharing and to develop teamwork partnerships.
?Direct supervision and provide development opportunities for associates by training, mentoring and assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; coaching for success and improvement.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:
?At least fifteen years of experience in regional accounting/finance role in multinational company;
?Experience working in matrix environment are highly regarded;
?Profound knowledge in accounting (US GAAP), international tax, statutory compliance and internal control;
?Over five years of team leading and controllership experience;
?Good judgment, strong analytical skills and business acumen with excellent communication skills;
?Fluent English is mandatory; Fluent Putonghua is preferred;
?Proficiency in computer applications: MS Excel, Word and Presentation. Experienced in Hyperion Essbase.
