Position Description

? Performs effective facilitation of supplier development programs within a respective region.
? Educates and trains suppliers and factory management on Ethical Standards and Sustainability programs.
? Works collaboratively with external stakeholders to ensure beneficial and favorable partnerships.
? Understanding and evaluating supplier and factory social compliance systems. Conducting root cause analysis and implementation of effective solutions to support capacity building remediation plans. Responsible for improving audit assessment ratings to meet predetermined organizational standards.
? Training and educating suppliers and factory management to apply analysis and problem solving to their own factories.
? Supporting suppliers and factory management in taking ownership for deriving and implementing socially responsible and sustainable solutions which support continuous improvement.
? Participating in strategic initiatives which support ES and Sustainability goals and objectives. May lead projects or acts as a resource for projects.
? Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand and integrate audit or investigation findings into supplier and factory development and remediation efforts.
? Working with Wal-Mart suppliers, industry associations, governments, non governmental organizations and other stakeholders on collaborative initiatives and partnerships. Represents the best interests of the company.
? Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed

Minimum Qualifications

? Knowledge and expertise of supplier and factory remediation and development including effective root-cause assessment, appropriate and objective issue-resolution recommendations, and proposal of successful implementation plans.
? The ability to examine and understand factory violations and the capability to define, diagnose and resolve programs based on appropriate holistic resolution.
? Knowledge of local and regional issues effecting social and environmental conditions.
? Ability to make meaningful contribution to ethical standards and sustainability issues by taking conscientious initiative on assignments and responsibilities. Takes full ownership for achieving and delivering desired outcomes with factories and suppliers.
? Project management skills which include managing project deliverables, optimizing the contribution of people involved, completing assignments accurately and efficiently.
? Effective planning and time management skills including the ability to plan and organize work to be productive and efficient.
? The ability to evaluate and improve existing systems and processes.
? Strong communication skills including written and verbal skills. The ability to express ideas clearly and concisely using appropriate methods.
? The ability to influence others and assert ideas and opinions successfully.
? Adaptable and flexible, adjusting to multiple demands.
? Business knowledge of operations and supply-chain.
? Exhibits a high level of integrity and ethics. Experience 3-5 years
