Responsibilities belonging to the Function　
　　
1. Work closely with IPQEs, Technicians, Team Leaders & Operators to optimize machines cycle time.
2. Make analysis and studies with the TMS (Tool Monitoring System) to optimize cutting tools usage and machine cycle.
3. Develop awarness, traininig and coaching with the Machining shopfloor employees for the TMS.
4. Improve internal set up time and technics with IPQEs, techincians, Operators, IPQEs, Team Leaders.
5. Develop External set up with a tool room & appropriate equipment in cooperation with Technicians…
6. Participate in and lead ABS & Kaizen events deployment in the shopfloor, including Maintenance improvement (TPM).
7. Propose Process improvements (Tools, fixtures, speeds…) and makes tests and trials to justify them.
8. Develop communications between 3 shifts and various departments (Tooling Automation, VS, ABS…)
9. Develop network of tool supplier to improve quality and reduce cost of cutting tools

1. First line "Specialist" to improve performance of both machines and cutting tools
2. Technical support and adviser / mentor for Technicians, IPQEs, Team leaders, Operators…
3. Facilitator for the ABS system in the Machining area with Kaizen newspaper (To Do List) follow up.
4. Key contributor for new machines - capex / investment selection and tests　
5. Analyst and "problem solving" leader for technical and process issues, including CMM controls

2. Have good communication skills, including multi-languages (Mandarin, English).
