Responsibilities:

• Work with the Production Director to establish long and short term manufacturing objectives; monitoring costs and profitability;
• Plan, direct, review and control the operational activities and resources of the whole plant to ensure timely delivery of quality outputs at competitive costs;
• Formulate and implement business strategies to ensure production targets are met;
• Deliver annual capacity plan for the factory and monitor expenditure under budgetary controls;
• Initiate value added process improvement projects to promote efficiency and reduce CM cost;
• Formulate people development plan and act as a mentor to develop a high potential workforce;
• Integrate various functions within the manufacturing operations to ensure smooth running of operations;
• Deliver timely and accurate management reports on a periodical and ad hoc basis.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma Holder;
• No less than 8 years experiences in managerial level in a garment manufacturer with sizable operations;
• Hands on management exposure of manufacturing operations of shirts products are preferred;
• Proven record of success in managing and improving manufacturing operations, delivering profit results, and developing a high performance team;
• Excellent knowledge in industrial engineering, material management and lead time reduction;
• Able to work under pressure, good problem solving skills and can meet tight deadlines;
• Strong leadership and people management skills;
• Fast learner and adaptable to change is necessary;
• Good command in English, fluent Mandarin is an advantage.
