The position is to provide technical support to customers designing Microchip/SMSC products (esp. USB and Ethernet) in order to meet customers’ requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide application support and design services to customers, especially in USB and Networking application designs
- Work closely with sales team to explore opportunities and achieve design win and revenue goals
- Support distribution partners and conduct technical trainings to them
- Support regional marketing activities
- Learn technical engineering and application aspects of USB and Networking products by interfacing with key product line personnel
Job Requirements:
- BSEE graduate or Master Degree
- 3+ years hands-on board-level application/product design/support
- USB and/or Networking (Ethernet) experience
- High speed PCB design skills and knowledge are preferred
- Experience in device driver development is a plus
- Good communication skill, team work, self-discipline and aggressive
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Available for travel
