Job Description:

1. Synthesis of novel specialty chemicals (i.e. surfactants, polymers or additives)
2. Knowledge and experience in the synthesis of polymeric surfactants, bio-based surfactants or functional polymers will be an added advantage
3. Execution, analysis and documentation of laboratory experiments
4. Exploring new technology fields and mapping out technology strategies
5. Collaboration with Application Development, Process Technology and Technical Marketing
6. Search and propose new projects or directions, think outside of the box

Requirements:

1. PhD in Synthetic Polymer Chemistry or Organic Chemistry, preferably with international PostDoc experience
2. Outstanding expertise in Organic and/or Polymer Chemistry
3. Industrial experience in Specialty Chemicals area is of advantage
4. Creative personality and strong problem solving skills
5. Excellent team player with outstanding communication skills
6. High motivation, ambition and reliability
7. Very good English language skills, additional language is of advantage
