Job Title: Hardware FAE for Finger Print Applications

Location: Shanghai

Job Responsibilities

Successful candidate will report to Lenovo FAE Manager and will be located in Shanghai. Responsibilities include:

l Work with mechanical and software engineers to implement Synaptics finger print solutions into customer applications for handsets, tablets, and PCs on Android and Windows systems.

l Analyze customer system requirements and recommend design solutions

l Generate schematics design, PCB layout & simulation to optimize design performance

l Troubleshoot prototypes from system level, which include digital and analog electronics, mechanical, firmware and software perspective.

l Work closely with PM, ME, Testing, QA, FW, SW to ensure the on-time delivery of projects with high quality.

l Assist marketing and engineering teams on new product definitions and designs taking into consideration customer feedback on current implementations.

l Work with marketing and sales to provide technical support to pre-sale activities with customers.

l Report on competitive products and identify significant market trends.

Qualifications/Requirements/Knowledge:

l BSEE in electrical engineering or equivalent, and MSEE preferred.

l 5 or more years of electrical hardware design experience in field applications of semiconductors for mobile phones.

l Experience in EMI/EMC and strong circuit debugging skills are strong pluses. Phone camera module design and debug experience is preferred.

l Estimate 20% to 50% travel required.

Required/Preferred Skills:

l Pro-active “get-it-done” personality with ability to influence people.

l Excellent communicator with strong writing skills; must be experienced with creating. presentations, sales tools, technical documentation, training, whitepapers, collateral, etc.

l Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.

l Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, parallel projects to deadline. Project management experience is helpful.

l Must have passion for success and winning.

l Team player, desire to learn and contribute in highly dynamic environment.
