Summary:
Responsible for HW (hardware) design and development follow up of LeapFrog products. The application should have not only solid EE (electronic engineering) knowledge and hand-on design experience but also good teamwork and communication inside(cross-functional teams) and outside to bring our next generation of products to market.

Responsibilities:
- HW feasibility study and architecture design with SW (software)
- Direct and support the EE development and samples building
- Host the cross team review for EE design and development and maintain the latest EE files into Agile
- Perform the EE characterization/validation test for code and HW design
- Support existing products for all hardware design issues
- Cost reduction for continual improvement of Products

Requirement:
- Degree/major in Electronic Engineering or Equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of system design and product bring up experience in high volume consumer electronic digital design (e.g. PDA, Cell phone, Computer and Educational Toy)
- Proficiency with OrCAD and Protel required
- Breadth of processor design knowledge ranging from 8-bit CISC to 32-bit RISC as well as memory technologies
- Good knowledge of FCC and EN regulatory requirements as well as ability to debug and resolve problems
- Proficiency with logic analyzers, oscilloscope (digital and analog), etc
- Capable of delivering solid solution during product bring up via root cause analysis, DOE, etc Characterization data analysis and presentation, with demonstrated understanding of results and provide solution
- Familiar with development process and related standard of Toy products
