Position: Inspector Coatings
Schedule: local personnel – 24 days worked per month / expatriate/local expatriate personnel – 21 days
Location: Qingdao, China
Start Day: Sep 2014
Duration: 3 Years
Report: QA/QC leader
Department: LNG Plant/ Modules Fabrication

Specific Conditions:
？ Three month probationary period
？ Based at module fabrication site in China for 36 months during the term of the project.

Qualifications & Licenses:
？ Secondary qualifications or higher, or related trade background, with experience in related oil and gas fields
？ Relevant experience working with international codes
？ Coatings certification, NACE CIP level 2(mandatory), SSPC PCI or ACA CIC or equivalent, such as, BGAS Level 2.

Critical Skills and Capabilities:
？ Performing Coatings inspection programmes for oil and gas capital resource projects at module fabrication yards.

Key Experiences Requirements:
？ Minimum 10 years experience in Coatings based inspection, including Coatings application of onshore/offshore modules.

Primary Deliverable
？ To provide specialist Coatings Inspector competence to the onshore module fabrication yard team in their over-sight of the Onshore EPC Contractor, and to ensure Yamal QC requirements are achieved for Coatings discipline aspects of Onshore LNG Module Yard Fabricator scope and provide technical guidance.

Key Technical Deliverables
The Coatings Inspector reports to the QA/QC Lead – Module Yard. They will assure compliance by the EPC Contractor and Fabrication Contractor(s). Duties will include:
？ Ensure all agreed Contractor and Fabrication Contractors Coatings ITP’s and procedures are implemented within the yard,
？ Inspection of all Coatings related aspects and, where applicable, sign-off on behalf of the Company.
？ Provide regular reports on the coatings discipline quality status/issues to the QA/QC Lead – Module Yard,
？ Monitor Fabrication Contractors coatings materials receipt, storage and handling processes,
？ Monitor Contractor's QC implementation within the fabrication yard,
？ Perform Company QC in fabrication yard testing (including applicator qualifications, coatings applications testing, records traceability),
？ Review, monitor and closeout all Contractor and Fabrication Contractors Coatings NCRs/quality observations.
？ Review Contractor and Fabrication Contractors Coatings records management and preparation for handover.
