Accountability:

System Manager is accountable for the delivery of quality IT services effectively supporting the business

activities and for introducing new IT solutions to meet the evolving business needs. The System Manager has

the ultimate accountability for providing effective and efficient application systems and project management

for IT services.


Responsibility:

·Serve as the one of the interface between end users & IT team

·Devise & recommend IT solutions to fulfill users' business needs

·Determine priority of projects and monitor progress according to project plans

·Coordinate with Business Analysis team to lead user requirement gathering and monitor development progress

·Set baseline for project management, resource allocation, and acceptance criteria for system development/

maintenance projects

·Service level reporting on project management

·Provide 2nd line support to helpdesk team

·Participate in change management for application systems.

·Work towards development projects to achieve project completion on time within budget

·Responsible for existing system maintenance

·Vendor Management (for system development vendors on development/design related area/contractors)

·Evaluate vendor(s)/contractor(s)' ability in handling system development project

·Manage the turn around time & quality for bug fixing, maintenance and enhancement

·Prepare physical design specification & assist in system document preparation

·Responsible for program source versioning and change management



Requirement:

·University degree preferably in IT fields.

·Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology and solid experience in the full system

development life cycle

·Up-to-date and in depth knowledge on system development methodology and tools, e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, VB.net,

Java and workflow applications, are of advantage under Linux and Windows environment

·Knowledge in trading, retails, supply chains will be highly valued

·Demonstrated project management skills including IT outsourcing management

·Strong user orientation with flexible work approach

·Energetic and enthusiastic, and being seen

·Well developed interpersonal and communications skills
