The Information System Engineer will work closely with IPD local operation team to fulfill business requirements and provide IT supports for manufacturing system as well as work with Gore global Application team to develop and implement application in Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
1.Support manufacturing execution system (MES) that includes:
- Client setup and other manufacturing area hardware/software maintenance.
- Integration with and support Process Control Software applications.
- A Lab Information Management System (LIMS) with interfaces to the MES systems
- Interfaces to/from all other systems
- Process analysis and application improvement.
2.Installation and maintenance of application servers.
3.Day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting the environment for problems.
4.Implementing global manufacturing system and provide IT supports to business projects.
5.After-hours Support

Requirments:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3 to 5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience implementing complex information systems projects, Microsoft Workstation and Server Operating System
• General knowledge of network architectures
• Good knowledge of network systems, servers, desktop computers and office software
• Programming/development experience
• Report analysis, design, development
• Project management
• English Language verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a global team
• Proven ability to make good decisions and solve problems effectively
• Ability to teach and mentor
• Flexible in time management for night conference call
