Overall purpose of the Commitment (one or two sentences)
·Support polymer material (woven and non-woven textile, adhesive, etc) application
·Provide technical support on new polymer material /supplier evaluation

Key Responsibilities (in order of importance)
1. Work with customer, supplier and internal team for new polymer material development, application and Polymer material specification setup
2. Design/develop new material test, and integrate in house and external source to fulfill the material testing.
3. Design, troubleshoot and refine new polymer material application processes
4. Partner with technical and manufacturing associates to drive polymer material application improvements to enhance product quality
5. Develop and maintain good relationships/interfaces with the relevant customers/suppliers for polymer application

Major Qualification (Essential & Desirable)
1. Bachelor degree or above in Polymer material related, at least 5 years experience in Polymer material development or application
2. Overview of polymer material market, different material property.
3. Broad knowledge of adhesive, liner reaction and material performance change over time. Background in Liner (PET) production; know the liner coating process.
4. Knowledgeable in woven, non-woven material property, air flow, fiber denier, Know woven, non-woven material manufacturing process, including material forming, bonding etc.
5. Strong interpersonal skills to successfully interact with cross functional teams, and communicate effectively and influence others;
6. Ability to solicit multiple options to determine strategic approach, lead projects and drive progress to plan, Demonstrated history of project ownership, project management and driving projects to completion.
7. Confident, ability to work in technical detail directly with customers and suppliers
8. Problem solving and trouble shooting skills;
9. Fluency in spoken and written English;
10. Strong computer skills (Word, Power-point, Excel) and strong presentation skills;
