IPD Asia Pacific is experiencing rapid growth. The successful candidate will be charged with providing credit control leadership in a dynamic environment with broad industry coverage and geographic span.

Scope of Commitment:

Maintain and advocate credit guidelines across Asia Pacific region-continue to improve the process and procedures
Provide credit analysis of new and existing customers, and make proposals to Sales teams
Identify and mitigate potential credit risks by conducting insightful analysis; enhance DSO performance and related metrics by making recommendations to business teams and initiating any necessary changes
Refine "Order-To-Cash" cycle continuously with business team, aiming at maximizing effectiveness and efficiency of credit and collection functions
Review AR aging reports with Collection counterparts in tackling challenging cases and visit key customers when necessary
Coach and support Collection counterparts
Advise on bad debt reserve and writeoffs

Requirements:

University degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration
At least 7 years of experience in credit control & collections in multinational company. Prior regional exposure is advantageous.
Proficient in evaluating credit worthiness customers based on financial statements, third-party credit reports, etc.
Open-minded with experience and capability to initiate, influence and implement changes in an environment with diverse opinions
Previous experience in industrial sectors is preferred but not a must
ERP experience, especially Order to Cash cycle
Self-motivated, hands-on and excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (written and oral) and Mandarin
Good presentation skills to represent Credit and Collections in finance and non-finance meetings
Willing to travel on occasional basis
