KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
§ Engineering degree or related discipline, post graduate engineering degree, bachelor or above
§ 15+ years overall working experience with a number of managerial positions gained in multi-national companies
§ 5+ years responsibility for the financials of a manufacturing site, with experience in multi-functional areas such as process, facility, operations, quality, production planning and logistics.
§ 5+ years experience in an electronic company or similar high volume industry.
§ Demonstrated ability to run a world class high volume manufacturing facility with excellent results against key performance indicators

MAJOR SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Management Oversight & Leadership of current manufacturing facility
· Provide overall strategic direction and execution for the current manufacturing facility based, manufacturing initiative in a cross-functional and matrix organization.
· Provide positive and effective leadership to Management Team
· Recruit, develop, lead and retain a motivated and team-oriented organization staffed in all production and support departments with personnel properly trained, directed and engaged to create and maintain an effective and rewarding work environment.
· Create a harmonious and positive working climate while promoting effective communication in regards to efficiency, economy, and safety of operation.
· Instill a culture of continuous statistically driven improvement in manufacturing methods and techniques through training and educational programs and the establishment of a LEAN Enterprise Culture.
· Participate in developing close constructive relationships with strategic global customers.
· Participate in corporate management or senior leadership meetings. Communicate and build long term relationship with the Executive Team as well as the rest of the matrix organization.
· Ensure the manufacturing facility compliance to all aspects of local laws and regulations
· Build effective government relations and external stakeholders relationship. Ensure a strong and positive external branding.

b. Manufacturing Operation

· Ensure manufacturing be accomplished within the specified time, cost and quality parameters to assure a profitable operation.
· Bring new products into high volume manufacturing.
· Initiate maintenance work on plant building and equipment development and administration of annual budgets and adherence to budget limitations.
· Investigate causes of delays, scrap, faulty work, and report, prioritize and manage opportunities for improvement based upon analysis of factual data (SPC, audit results, capability indexes, etc.), as well as close observation and communication with employees.
· Ensure compliance with government regulations, approvals and customer demands as well as interpretation and enforcement of Company policies, rules, and regulations within the manufacturing organization
· Ensure effective utilization of resources, cost control and overall budget management and adherence.
