Manager Health and Work Environment

Key Responsibility




Under the leadership of the Senior Manager Health and Work Environment, participate in design, definition and development of safety and health management concepts, guidelines and initiatives in the Asia Pacific Region in collaboration with BMW Group HR and under consideration of the regional needs

Steer regional implementation of Health and Work Environment programs in cooperation with the regional businesses and local HR

Steer and support the markets in implementing Safety and Health Processes

Collaborate with the units to implement and audit the OHSAS / ISO systems

Coordination and steering of health and work environment strategy and concept implementation and conformance by the regional entities

Regional adaptations of global concepts and programs

Provision of regional input and representation of the interests of the region in the definition of Group principles

Monitor the progress and evaluate the performance of Health and Work Environment activities conducted by local HR, and ensure the conformity to Group and Regional guidelines

Monitoring and analysis of market and competitor trends regarding Health and Safety management strategies and solutions in the region, and development of recommendations for the region and/or the BMW Group

Steering role for Health and safety management for all countries within the region

Internal and external contact partner for issues of health and safety management in the region

Bridge between market and headquarters to ensure market voices are heard in the headquarter

Contribute to the development of health and work environment strategies and concepts for the Asia Pacific region, based on the Group framework and regional needs

Support the markets in terms of implementation and training of all BMW Group tools related to Health and Work Environment




















Qualification




Engineering in Safety and Health Management

Knowledge in Safety and Health Management

Knowledge in designing and implementation of safety systems and conducting audits

Knowledge in workshop facilitation

Analytical and strategic competence

Ability to shape and steer topics in a complex environment

High interpersonal and intercultural competence

Proficient in English

Experience in Safety and Health Management functions

Experience in Project Management

Intercultural Experience
