Primary Function:
Be responsible for process improvement and EHS in the manufacture to ensure smooth production and continued improvement.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Take full responsibility for EHS which includes compliance, training, audit and follow up, improvement and daily management.
2. Be responsible for optimizing improve production technology, improve production quality and efficiency.
3. Be responsible for the daily management of equipments and other associated equipment suppliers.
4. Be in charge of engineering project including change confirmation, roll out, tracking and result confirmation.
5. Work with other functions /teams to deal with issues identified from NCR and 8D reports. Solve production issues accordingly.
6. Be in charge of manufacture and workshop layout planning and execution
7. OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 related documents management
8. Establish and standardize operation process. It includes setting policies /guidelines, providing training, result confirmation and continued improvement
9. Offer relevant staff training
10. Be in charge of the development of the relevant folder selection tooling fixture or procurement
11. Assist Supply Chain to evaluate supplier’s manufacturing capacity
12. Other tasks assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Required Attributes
Education / Experience Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, with major in mechanical engineering or other relevance
2. At least 3 years working experience in larger machinery manufactures. Must have process improvement experiences especially in the areas of sheet metal or welding
3. Be familiar with EHS in the manufacture
4. More than 2 years working experience in promoting lean production, strong sense to identify issues and continued improvement
5. Strong problem solving skills
6. Willing to have overtime work
7. Result oriented
8. Willing to work under pressure
9. Good communication skills in Mandarin and English
10. Good computer skills such as office , AutoCAD
