Buyer
Primary Function:
According to company’s standard and schedule, purchase all necessary direct raw materials and manage suppliers in terms of quality performance, on time delivery and continuous improvement.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Purchasing direct materials to meet Master production schedule, resolve materials shortage issue timely and drive a strong flow to support production
2. Manage all purchasing information in PS System timely and accurately.
3. Take care of supplier performance management, issue scorecard to measure the performance of supplier, and drive continuous improvement on supplier side.
4. Taking ownership in following up all NCRs and deal with quality claims with vendor to improve quality capability on vendor side.
5. Monitor and facilitate open orders, deal all invoices accurately and timely according to payment term of the contract.
6. Meet BAC EHS and ethics requirements.
7. Accomplish annual Performance Objective and other assignments required by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities,
Education / Experience Requirements:
1. Well organized, being analytical.
2. Has strong sense of customer service, being responsive
3. Good communication and negotiation skills
4. With business and personal ethics
5. BS in Engineering background
6. Over 3 years experience in purchasing function
7. Good English and PC skills
8. Peoplesoft experience will be a plus
