Gore Shenzhen Venting plant within the Industrial Products Division of W.L. Gore & Associates is looking for an energetic, flexible, organized and highly skilled electrical technician to provide machine maintenance and trouble shooting for our fast expansion manufacturing and testing equipment. This associate must be able to multi-task and prioritize their activities within a rapid paced environment, have meticulous work practices and be team oriented.

? Be passionate about machine trouble shooting & maintenance, including both electrical and mechanical (secondary) maintenance

Responsibilities include:
? Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, testing and facilities equipment effectively, including both electrical and mechanical issues
? Plan & perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production, lab testing and Facilities/Utilities equipment, evaluating effectiveness (content and frequency) and making necessary changes following our quality system guidelines
? Work with engineers and contractors on new machine design, installation, debugging, validation and existing equipment reliability improvements
? Develop troubleshooting procedure and instruction, train other technicians and operators
? Plan and manage reasonable spares and tools to achieve unplanned machine breakdown target
? Support cross-team continuous improvement activities, including EHS, capability and capacity
? Guide and evaluate contracted services
? File modification drawing, project reports, troubleshooting & maintenance record.
? Flexible to work at multiple plants to meet business needs

Required Job Qualifications:
? Technical high school or college on Electrical Engineering, Automation Control, etc.
? 5 + years troubleshooting and maintenance experience on complex auto-control machine
? Desire to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment with strong troubleshooting skill & ownership
? Applied working knowledge of PLC software, control network, HMI, AC & Servo Drives,
? Ability to use PLC software to diagnose, resolve problems and modify PLC ladder logic.
? Applied working knowledge in the debugging, calibration and maintenance of controls instrumentation and sensors
? Proven mechanical aptitude applied to troubleshooting and repair activities
? Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
? Able to read and write technical English fluently, with basic oral English skill
? Able to work in shift and overtime/weekends

Desirable Job Qualifications
? Experience in troubleshooting and supporting automated assembly line/cells
? Familiar with Allen-Bradley automation control system
? Good AutoCAD & Solidwork skill
