Work Location: Zhangjiagang
We are an executive search firm, looking for a Finance Manager for a global core material leader based in Zhangjiagang.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coach the financial team and improve the functional competence;
- Facilitate the preparation of the annual operating and capital budget and quarterly forecasts in compliance with group instructions;
- Implement proper management reporting systems and provide complete consolidated monthly financial statements per stated deadline;
- Monitor and analyze monthly financial results against budget and forecast. Provide supporting reports and written analysis to Group Controller;
- Provide relevant manufacturing variances analysis, sales analysis, expenses analysis, analysis for capital expenditures and productivity project;
- Establish and maintain effective and efficient standard cost methodology, MRP costing system and processes;
- Ensure necessary internal controls exist within cost accounting system to support accurate information and safeguarding of assets. Suggest the improvement/remedy whenever necessary;
- Maintain product costing for manufactured items, update standard cost, review inventory costing, and provide most updated cost information for business purpose;
- Analysis and tracking of standard and job costs, analysis and tracking of excess costs, identify problem and concern areas, provide advice and assistance to management with corrective measures;
- Continuously improve rolling cash flow, working capital via fast AR collection, inventory reduction and CAPEX control, credit control;
- Responsible for internal and external audits of all accounting related activities, and follow up the audit issues to be solved.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting, CPA is preferred;
- Minimum of 10 years accounting experience with 3-5 years as a financial leader (i.e. Controller or equivalent) in a manufacturing environment. Proved experiences and background in product cost accounting practices;
- Strong analytical skills and strong understanding of manufacturing and product costing processes. Possesses core competence in accounting and financial reporting;
- Must have excellent computer skills and strong ERP system knowledge(Navision will be a plus);
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, costing and auditing practices and principles in a manufacturing environment and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
- Attention to details with the ability to prioritize and multitask as well as an attitude of 100% compliance with all company and regulatory requirements;
- Solid overall business acumen and a strong mindset for continuous improvement;
- High energy and proactive, ability to work flexible hours and work under pressure,
as well as strong commitment to deadlines;
- Interpersonal and team skills with ability to professionally interact with all levels of personnel required;
- Fluent in English, and effective oral/presentation and written communication skills.
