职位描述

Job Requirement:


· Qualification from secondary education is preferred but not essential

· At least 3 years experience within a face to face direct sales role

· International Express or Logistics industry background

· Excellent communication and persuasion skills

· Results driven with a track record of achieving sales targets

· Organisational awareness (structure and products & services)

· Strong determination and motivation to lead, succeed and inspire

· Business to business selling skills

· Communication capability at a senior/board level, both internally and externally

· Ability to interpret Sales reports and analysis

· Clean, full drivers license

· Basic project management skills

· Microsoft Office applications





Job Responsibilities:


Sales Activities

Working on a designated portfolio, to win, develop and retain Key Account clients through regular face to face contact and effective customer management

§ Plans and prepares for sales visits to both existing and prospect customers e.g. market information, contact person, potential, trading history, etc using the sales system and other available, relevant information

Performs business development visits to appropriate contacts within existing and prospect customers according to the agreed activity KPI’s and approved KAM sales processes

§ Identifies the potential value of customers and liaises with TNT departments to provide an appropriate proposal / tender response in line with the TNT commercial policy and other internal stakeholders

§ Consistently presents the full range of TNT products, services and technologies to every customer

§ Wins new Key Account customers through the closing of business on the appropriate tariffs

§ Investigates the opportunities for TNT to deliver added value to each customer and develops new revenue streams through the identification if up selling and/or cross selling opportunities


Sales Administration

To perform all sales administration activities in order to maintain accurate information essential to develop revenue and improve customer satisfaction and to maximise the face-to-face selling time

§ Effectively manages time through correct use of the agenda and plans travel to maximise selling time

§ Accurately updates the Sales systems following each customer interaction to ensure complete and current client information such as pipeline value, supply chain, decision makers, record communications etc

§ Reviews the portfolio performance with KAM Management team and prepares information as necessary for sales meetings and quarterly sales reviews


Customer Management

To monitor, review and manage the performances of customers in the portfolio to drive revenue growth forward and ensure customers are satisfied and correctly serviced

§ Monitors all levels of customers trade performance through reports and business intelligence

§ Conducts periodic review meetings with customers to assess TNT’s progress against implementation / development plans, associated targets and to identify future opportunities for collaboration

§ Requests ad hoc analysis as required to investigate customer performance trends and to identify areas for improvement

§ Ensures corrective action plans are in place to deliver sustainable performance improvements as required by customers within the portfolio


Relationship Management

To ensure we win, keep, develop and recover Key Account customers by building lasting, mutually beneficial relationships

§ Forms professional and appropriate relationships at senior level in identified customer organisations through face to face contact

§ Forms constructive, open and professional relationships with Management teams of all TNT sales channels and Head Office as required

§ Monitors the development of customer sales relationships throughout the function and at all levels

§ Ensures customers are kept up to date with relevant TNT information and reports, where applicable

§ Establishes appropriate relationships and communicates with other key functional areas such as customer solutions, commercial, operations etc.


Process Management & Implementation

To deploy and monitor KAM processes, policies and procedures in order to ensure the consistency, efficiency and quality of internal and external customer expectations

§ Understands the approved TNT Win, Keep, Develop and Recover Profitable Customers sales processes and communicates the importance of process compliance within the Regional KAM organisation

§ Ensures correct execution of new and existing KAM, policies and processes

§ Ensures continuous improvement in sales performance through the deployment of best practice processes

§ Works with cross-functional colleagues to ensure that the KAM and related functional processes are consistently applied and refined to improve the customer experience


Cross Functional Relationships

Develops positive relationships with functions that support success in the KAM channel to ensure TNT’s value proposition continues to meet the requirements of the Key Account customers

§ Establishes potential product opportunities by identifying new developments within the channels customers and competitors in the local markets and actively informs the TNT product development team

§ Understands the dependencies between the KAM, SAM and TSM channels and manages a productive relationship with relevant TSM/ SAM personnel to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled and business opportunities are converted

§ Maintains a close relationship with key functional areas such as SpS, customer solutions, commercial, operations, customer service and other departments to ensure all business opportunities are developed and KAM customers receive a consistent, positive customer experience


CSR and Health & Safety

§ Complies with the company's corporate social responsibility, health, safety and environmental standards and responsibilities as identified within TNT Express management systems and effectively implement and maintain these management systems
