Job Summary
Manages inbound and/or outbound operations and ensures quality customer service while controlling costs. Lead, direct, and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure that the customer requirements are met in a cost effective manner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Contributes to ensure that key targets for company growth, profitability are met
Focuses on managerial concern of operation cost and control resource allocation, provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of the various working segments
Participates in the preparation and control of the operating budget
Monitors established performance indicators (KPI/Control Items) including variance reports, operational reports, quality reports, initiating corrective actions as required.
Develop new routine and service to meet the internal and external customer requirement.
Control the operational cost by compare and negotiating price with airlines & agents and operation.
Ensure operational practices and procedures are compliant with Country and network operation policies.
Support all station of North China on the business development.
Work close together with CS and manages operations to meet the needs of customers and follows-up with customers.
Control and develop the airfreight operational activities to meet the needs of customers and follows-up with customers
Manage administrative personnel to ensure the efficient flow of paperwork
Delegates work among employees and monitor the operations of departments.
Practices to ensure that freight is being moved in a sage and timely manner.
Recruits, trains and managers assigned personnel to meet the company requirements.
Will conduct performance evaluations for all staff within department and be responsible for coaching and counseling
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, major in Logistic Management is preferred
Minimum of 8 years experience within the transportation / logistics industry and more than 3 years management experience.
Overall operations experience should not be less than 6 years.
Currently involved air freight operations and development in International freight forwarding Company.
Good command of English in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Good interpersonal communication skill in price negotiation with relevant airline company or agent, and bring out positive results.
