职位描述
The position will work closely with the COO to help accomplish the company’s goals. This includes scheduling onsite and offsite meetings, travel, attending key meetings, taking meeting minutes and making sure that all attendees follow through on their commitments. This position requires a good deal of business judgment in that they will have to make periodic business decisions when the COO is not present or otherwise unable to do so.
This position requires a very detail-oriented personality who never forgets a task or leaves out a detail. They must be flexible in their outlook as things change frequently. They must be very strong in their expectations of others as they will be responsible for making sure that associates follow through on their deliverables. They cannot take no for an answer: If there is a problem, they must be able to innovate and drive a solution.
This job could be a stepping stone for the right candidate because they will have a bird-eye view of virtually every part of the company and can possibly take a leadership role in the future.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years business experience. They are a native Mandarin speaker with a command of business terminology. Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. 4-year college degree required. Some travel and the ability to work long hours are required. Solid interpersonal and communications skills are also a must.
They will be the “heavy” who follows through on all of the action items and deliverables both within my org, across other departments within DH Gate; as well as with external parties such as sellers and outside agencies.
They will run the staff meetings and the Pre-WBR meetings to hold people accountable for the deliverables due from the previous week. They will also set agendas for cross department meetings and manage the outcomes and deliverables.
This kind of responsibility requires someone with high EQ/solid interpersonal skills because they will be dealing with people within DH Gate who are above their level as well as important VIP buyers/sellers who need professional interaction.
After they has been in this position for longer than a year, they will have enough of a 360-degree view of the business to move into a position with revenue responsibility. And they will have the respect of the staff to also have a leadership position as well. Some possibilities are a marketing role within the
1.BM: Branding Manager, Emerging markets SWAT manager, Buyer Loyalty Manager
2.Operations: CS Manager, strategic partnerships operations manager, PMO manager
3.Seller Acquisition: Regional Sales Manager
4.Category Management: Category Manager
