Major Responsibilities:

1. Manage the operative purchasing activities for the Plant

2. Build up a high efficient and performance purchasing organization including organization and employee development

3. Implement purchasing projects in cooperation with China Purchasing

4. Trouble shooting and solving supply issues/problems

5. Carry out purchasing reporting

Requirements:

1. At least 7 years sourcing experience with castings, forgings, fabrications,

plastics, rubber, machining parts and heavy stampings, more than 3 years as

A leader of purchasing team

2. Good understanding of China materials prices and availability

3. Good knowledge of China supply base for those stated commodities

4. Clear understanding and subsequent deployment of the strategic direction. Experience in contractor/supplier selection and evaluation procedures.

5. Good understanding of different materials such as castings, stampings, gears and their cost in China

6. Good understanding of Chinese material cross-reference with US and European materials

7. Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must for the position

8. Education background in Engineering or Business is preferred
