Major Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and direction for direct and indirect Purchasing (strategic and tactical) for Shandong plant, in coordination with other Apac entities. Collaborate with other Group Companies to fully leverage corporate wide purchasing.

2. Determine a comprehensive program that will support the supply chain and business plan of Crane: rationalize the Company’s supplier base and introduce supplier productivity programs aimed at cost reduction. improved process capability, lead time compression, inventory optimization.

3. Improve Company/Supplier information processes and systems that remove non-value added transactions. Implement processes, controls and metrics for cost/quality/delivery requirements, on line with Corporate and Regional policies and practices.

4. Develop the maturity, drive the change of Purchasing Dept/suppliers to reach the global Bingo, Focus, Opex and others Company initiative

5. Upgrade the Purchasing staff knowledge/skills of commodities/components technology.

Requirements:

1. 8+ years’ work experience with progressively Purchasing, Materials and Supply Chain responsibilities in industrial/manufacturing environment. CPM and other purchasing/Supply Chain certifications preferred.

2. Experience in managing strategic and tactical purchases in multi-plant and multi-cultural environment. Broad knowledge of purchasing, accounting and quality pinciples/procedures.

3. Demonstrated ability to think conceptually with a real commitment to change and continuous improvement. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to develop outsourcing strategies that will support MCG business objectives on a local and worldwide basis.

4. Experience in development of long-term commodity strategies/agreements in a Supply Chain Management environment.

5. Exceptional negotiating and communication skills with ability to communicate at all management levels, and ability to drive the change.

6. Fluent in the Mandarin and English Language, multi-cultural experience is requested.

7. Well knowledge of MS Office, outlook, ERP, etc.
