To cope with our business requirements, our Xiamen office is seeking a professional of high caliber to fill the following position:



Technical Manager, Container Services of Xiamen



Reporting to Senior Manager of Container Services, Xiamen, the incumbent will be based in Xiamen.


Position Purpose:


· To monitor and audit ensuring that customer requirements for container inspection, repair estimation and quality are meet on time, in a professional, efficient and friendly manner.

· Audit the performance of Inspection Estimation & Quality Control ("IE&QC") of Container Services, Xiamen ("CS XIM") and issue finding reports.

· Periodically analyse the IE&QC performance and raise correct method.

· To ensure the supreme quality of CS XIM end product.

· To provide technical coaching for operation staff.


General Areas of Responsibilities:

· Monitor and audit the IE &QC's business activities, including container inspection and survey management, materials and methods control, quality control, cost estimating, and technical standards, to attain objectives based on corporate and department goals and policies.

· Analyse and appraise, regularly and systematically, the effectiveness of all IE & QC operations to ensure that established objectives will be met and immediate corrective action will be taken when necessary.

· Arrange suitable meeting and training of person in charge of IE&QC to ensure continuously improvements in inspection, repair estimation and quality.

· Ensure that all assigned objectives are met and conform to the policies and procedures of the company.

· Duly issue reports with correct actions and follow up the results.

· Periodically issue analysis report to superior.

Requirements:

· At least 3 years of experience in Container Equipment Maintenance Repair ("EMR") and container inspection related job.

· Solid container inspection skills and experience on sites.

· Obtain IICL certificate or related experience in container inspection.

· Fluency in both written and spoken English

· Strong communication and interaction skills.

· Strong leadership skills for work floor colleagues.

· Ability to problem-solving independently

· Result orientated and positive "can do" attitude.
