Asst. Costing Manager/Supervisor:
Requirement:
? Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or other discipline,
? Min. 5 years experience in manufacturing cost environment.
? Able to communicate effectively with plant management on material usage, variable/fixed costs price and follow up on execution.
? Familiar with ERP, experience and product costing experience is highly preperred,
? Good command in written and spoken English
? Fluent Cantonese is preferable
? Ability to work well in team environment and to perform under pressure/tight deadlines
? Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
? Manage & execute a cost management system and database including multi-level quantity costing and alternative vendors.
? Consolidated the product cost from material, component level to ensure vendor quotations make sense (both component and complete).
? Manage product costing tool to support feasibility study and cost negotiation.
? Manage a vendor matrix of cost vs quality trade-offs with cross-functional teams in order to clearly identify a vendor strengths/weaknesses and publish monthly
? Management of new item BOM into Agile/JDE system. Work with Purchasing to effectively pass the BOM information upon receipt of orders.
? Conduct cost analysis, cost review, product development cost to facilitate project improvement
? Counter check with relevant parties to ensure accuracy
? Collaborate with Engineering for detailed product part lists
? Collaborate with Project Leader team for complete product spec and packaging information
Conditions a little weak candidate could be considered Costing Supervisor
