职位描述
Position overview:
? Develops and leads execution of development plans targeted to reduce frequency of quality issues related to tier-2 supplier manufacturing defects.
? Leverages performance data and significant commodity domain expertise to identify and proactively manage supplier quality risk.
? Evaluates suppliers’ internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation.
? Ensures suppliers have requisite technical competence and process capability to supply components and services in accordance to Zebra quality standards and business needs.
? Enables next generation product introduction success by driving required supplier technology advancement in support of product roadmap requirements.
Requirements:
? Four year Technical Degree plus 5-10 years work experience in target commodity production environment.
? Excellent English and Mandarin skills, speaking and writing.
? Knowledge of common quality metrics & quality control and assurance methods
? Highly skilled employing and teaching continuous improvement techniques (Gage R&R, SPC, DOE) utilizing statistical data analysis tools like Minitab or JMP. 6 Sigma certification a plus.
? Participation in Professional Engineering Societies by Commodity is highly desirable.
? Proficient using 2D/3D product design tools such as AutoCAD or Pro/Engineer
? QUALIFICATIONS by SDE-Commodity – Must be considered ‘subject matter expert’ in one or more of the following commodity domains:？ Electronics: programmable logic, memory, microprocessors(CPU), batteries, RF modules, IR/ Laser sensors, EMI filters, power supplies
