Purpose of job:
·To provide necessary support to and appropriate development of the IT Server infrastructure based within the DTGS region and Other DTG Opco Offices in Asia, thereby ensuring the global systems meet the needs of the business.

Main Responsibilities:
·To implement and administrate the Data Backup system within a Windows 2003 domain environment in DTGS region.
·To undertake administration of the Prowork's system within DTGS.
·Administer the various Anti-Virus systems to ensure network security is kept to a high level.
·To perform system maintenance and upgrades on new and existing servers.
·To undertake regular reviews of the Company's Server Systems, and where appropriate, plan to ensure they meet projected business requirements.
·Be responsible for performing proactive maintenance on MIS Servers to ensure their uptime and performance are maintained.
·Take ownership of Server and System information and manage it in a controlled fashion.
·Support the training of new DTGS staff and ensure they are fully compliant with MIS policies and procedures.



Personal Requirements:
·Qualified, to degree equivalent level, preferably in an IT or computer related discipline.
·Possess a minimum of three year's experience working successfully in a Windows 2003 / XP medium sized global corporation, ideally in the role of Windows Administrator.
·Possess a Microsoft Professional Qualification.
·Speak English to a high standard.
·Be familiar with HP branded servers.
·Have experience of Microsoft SQL 2005 Server.
·Have experience of implement SAN.
·Able to undertake occasional foreign travel, sometimes at short notice.
