General Description

You will support the Senior Product Sourcing Manager to manage the global sourcing and managing the supply base for the tooled and injection smart phone/ tablet cases (PLUS BT Keyboard and Audio accessories). He / she will be responsible for driving sustainable supply and cost reduction through selection and management of preferred suppliers to meet the Company and customers' needs. The Product Sourcing Manager will work closely with the Global and Regional Operational team to develop and execute global sourcing strategy for the assigned product categories and support global projects based on business needs.

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute the Sourcing Strategies for the assigned product category to meet business requirements by maximizing Belkin's best in class approved vendor list.

· Manage and negotiate contracts with our suppliers, i.e. price setting, payment terms, supply flexibility, liability clauses, etc. to maximize the Company interest.

· Manage the suppliers' account team through conducting regular supplier audits and developing action plan together with the Global Technology, Sourcing and Supplier Quality team to ensure they deliver satisfactory service level to the Company.

· Work closely with the Global Purchasing, Product Management team to develop sourcing strategies for the assigned commodity group.

· Identify viable and world-class suppliers to deliver customized supply solutions to meet business objectives.

· Manage the Bill of Materials data and conduct benchmarking on cost on regular basis to meet cost saving objectives.

· Identify new suppliers to support Belkin's new roadmap activities and act as the liaison among Global Purchasing, Product Management to manage the commercial aspects.

· Maintain an open and regular communications with Global and APAC Product Management, Global Purchasing to meet the Company and business unit objectives.

· Communicate and assure compliance with the Company's sourcing requirements in compliance with the Belkin's Code of Conduct and Corporate Values.

· Perform other ad-hoc project or assignment to meet business needs.

Education and Qualification Requirements

· Minimum of five years' experience in Purchasing/Commodity Management, preferably with strong understanding of ODM or experiences in Contract Manufacturing/ Outsourcing Supply Management business model.

· Relevant sourcing experience in electronics and electrical consumer electronics products with good understanding of the industry trend is required. Prior product sourcing/ product development experience in related products is preferred.

· Knowledge in variety of molding processes including thin wall injection molding, 2-shot molding, insert-molding, and compression molding preferable.

· Basic understanding of decoration processes such as PU & UV painting, pad printing, PVD, IML etc.

· Entrepreneurial spirit with in-depth knowledge in strategic cost management with track record in developing, implementing and maintaining high value sourcing strategies.

· Ability to multi-task and find balance between strategic thinking and operational activities.

· Excellent negotiation skills & vendor relationship management.

· Ability to work with cross-functional team in a collaborative manner to achieve business goals.

· Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively in written English and basic oral communication. Chinese (i.e. Mandarin) is a must.

· Willing to travel, sometimes on short notice is required based on business needs.

· Proficiency working with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

· Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related discipline acquired from reputable University or Tertiary Institution.
