Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with a product development engineer, quality engineer, global test procedure to developing and document the Asia test procedures to accurately simulate end-use conditions.
- Design and build test fixtures. This requires experience with standard metal working machines including lathes, mills, drill presses, surface grinders, etc. Also, create drawings for fixtures and maintain a log of test fixtures to allow for quick access of drawings and fixtures in the future.
- Perform product tests to verify functionality, strength, cycle life, and durability. Become thoroughly familiar with the test equipment used, so that tests may be efficiently designed and performed.
- Report test results in a complete, concise manner, documenting objectives, procedures, and results for each test. This may require the development of graphs, charts, or sketches, from which conclusions may be drawn.
- Become familiar with computer controlled test equipment to develop automated test stations.
- Become familiar with accepted national and international test standards, and perform tests in accordance with these standards where appropriate.
- Become familiar with statistical methods to determine appropriate sample sizes and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain all necessary files and records.
- Proficient with personal computer and various computer programs for reporting and documenting test results

Requirements:
- Proficient with PC's and hardware
- Basic programming skills
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and electronic technologies
- Problem solving ability
- Good communication skills
- Quality and safety conscious
- Able to work as a team member
- 3 year technical degree preferred
- Related to at least 3 years experience in mechanical fixture manufacturing
