Job description

1. Build up material purchasing resources, negotiate contract terms, monitor and control purchasing cost & quality.

2. Make purchasing plan according to production & operation requirements.

3. To ensure suppliers deliver qualified goods on time.

4. Team up with Engineering and other department to source new goods or contractors.

5. Work with Quality Department to drive supplier performance improvement and conduct regular supplier audits.

6. Up date suppliers & price information to Finance & IT Departments as required.

7. Establish and optimize the procedure and process flow in purchasing.

8. Provide coaching and mentoring for subordinates, supervise on their daily work.

9. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commercial or Equivalent.

2. Minimum 8 years working experience in purchasing, sourcing or related area, including 2 years in managerial role.

3. Experience in MNCs is compulsory.

4. Working experience and knowledge in steel, tools or equipments manufacturing processes is preferred.

5. Able to drive projects initiative & aggressively and with high cost sense

6. Good communication / negotiation skills.

7. Teamwork, self motivated and able to work under high pressure working environment.

8. Good command of English.

9. Familiar with ERP system is preferred.
