CAD Leader fulltime

LOCATION:

PLACE IN THE ORGANIZATION:


HIERARCHICAL INTERACTIONS:
CAD Leader is part of mechanical departments, which are parts of Operation direction. The CAD Leader reports to Mechanical Team Leader.

AIM OF THE POSITION:
Main tasks of CAD Leader are to assist the Project Leader and Mechanical Project Leader during the development phase. CAD Leader will especially be in charge create and master model + CAD

The CAD Leader must summarize progress and report to Mechanical Project Leader the achievements, issues and risks.

Working with Mechanical Project Leader, the CAD Leader is committed to work closely with mechanical team to coordinate, and participate, to feasibility study, technical choices; parts design and technical documentation, then insure parts industrialization and product assembly.

The CAD Leader is committed with the Project Leader and Mechanical Project Leader on:
? The development schedule agreed at project kick-off
? The budget agreed at project kick-off
? The technical level of the product (including quality)
? The production ramp-up achievement

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:
(List may change, as organization can be adapted to fit project size)

? Create Master model
? 3D parts creation
? 2D drawings
? Manage database
? Optimize CAD work methods
? Support CAD Team ( internally or subcontracted )


LEVEL OF REQUIRED BACKGROUND:
? University graduated in Mechanical engineering
? At least 4 years’ experience in similar position, preferably in international company

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
? Expert in surface modeling, detail 3D part design and part 2D specification creation.
? Pro/engineer Creo 2, CAD Software.
? Able to work effectively in a multiple project environment
? Must be able to function independently
? Excellent command of spoken and written English.
? Including technical discussion and reporting.
? Up to date in the latest technology and application principals
? Including production, finishing and assembly of diverse material
? Knowledge of main office management tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
? Knowledge of standard quality tools (FMEA, 6sigmas…)
