职位描述
The Payroll Specialist will be supporting the Payroll function for eBay/PayPal China entities managed by Asia Shared Services centre.
Primary job responsibilities include :
?Full scope of payroll processing - working with HR and payroll vendor to process the payroll timely, check and review payroll reports / time sheet, make journal entries for the monthly payroll. Ensure payroll withholding tax including stock (ESPP & RSU) is processed/reported and paid timely. Final payment to terminated/resigned employees is processed and made timely according to local requirement.
?Payroll reporting - submit payroll reports on ESPP and eIP report timely to corporate.
?PTO (leave) processing – working with payroll vendor to review and upload PTO files to the system.
?Accrual - working with the respective people to ensure accrual is made timely and reversed is made when payment is done.
?Intercompany transaction - work with the respective people on intercompany cross charge related to payroll, expat assignment etc.
?Month end closing - ensure booking are closed properly and timely, and proper reconciliation of payroll accounts.
?Tax – working with payroll vendor to ensure payroll and employee related tax, annual tax filing are done timely.
?Communicate with staff regarding tax and payroll queries
?Audit - supporting the annual statutory audit by preparing schedule and local support.
?Controls and Procedure - ensuring proper systems and controls are in place, assist the APAC Controller to set up the process, procedures and policy etc.
?Compliance - ensure conformity with all policies and procedures, internal controls and also applicable SOX 404 requirements.
?Any ad hoc report or project as requested.

Applicants will need to demonstrate familiarity and proficiency in the following areas
?Executing on Best of Class procedures.
?Executing on efficient, yet control robust, procedures for payroll and related matters.
?Statutory, regulatory and other government and compliance agency reporting requirements including local, applicable laws and reporting standards.
?Desktop applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
?Interacting with external parties including service providers, auditor, tax consultant etc.
?Operating successfully in a high growth, dynamic environment with multiple demands.
Other pluses
?SAP experience, China payroll
?Preferably with prior experience in international or US-based company
?Ability to work with people outside the country
?Good level of spoken and written English
