General Responsibilities:

Belkin Linksys Networking Business Unit is the leading provider of home networking and networked entertainment products. It was acquired by Belkin from Cisco in March 2013. Belkin is enlarging Linksys R&D center located in Xuhui, Shanghai. We are seeking out highly motivated and talented Software Development Engineers to join in this exciting challenge. The right candidates would work with us to create high-quality, cutting-edge firmware for Wireless Router, AP, Switch and Home Automation products, etc. You will be one member of one strong team that most of us have rich working experiences in best network companies such as Cisco and Huawei before. As one software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining key functionality for the above products.

· Linksys EA4500 App-Enabled N900 Dual-Band Wireless-N Router with Gigabit and USB

· Linksys EA6500 Smart Wi-Fi Dual-Band AC Router with Gigabit and 2x USB

Specific Responsibilities

· Take ownership of Software Functional and Design Specifications

· Complete the coding and unit testing for the software modules

· Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners to integrate the new features to new hardware platforms

· Maintain and support existing products and software programs

· Coordinate software development efforts across multiple development teams and multiple sites(US, Korea and India)

Education and Experience Requirements

Must have skill/experiences

· Strong C programming experience and debugging skills

· Linux programming/development skills

· Embedded real-time OS/system skills

· Networking knowledge such as TCP/IP or socket programming experience

Good to have skill/experiences

· Device driver and register level programming

· IEEE 802.11(11abg,11n,11ac) wireless standard

· Home Networking standards such as UPnP/DLNA

· SOAP/XML/TR069

Working Experience

· At least 2 years of embedded software design & development experience preferably in networking technologies, applications and devices

Educational Background

· Required: BS in CS/EE, or equivalent.

· Preferred: MS or above in CS/EE, or equivalent.
