Job Description

The main purpose of this job is to provide technical support to the customers on STB etc. digital consumer products, specialized in cable modem /MoCA /DVB FE firmware/driver etc. support; Contribute technical expertise in STB system design and problem solving to achieve design-win of STB etc. digital consumer projects.
- Support STB FE, Cable modem and MoCA customer design;
- support customer on trouble-shooting in field;
- Reference driver /design development.

Requirement

- Bachelor/Master degree with major of Electrical Engineering or Science;
- 5+ years related working experience;
- Good software development skill, familiar with C/C++, Linux;
- Good experience on STB FE firmware/driver;
- Good experience on STB FE performance validation and optimization;
- Familiar with Linux such as user space, kernel space, ioctl, proc FS, sysfs, iptables/netfilter, busybox, toolchain, and open source porting, etc.
- Familiar with DOCSIS 3.0 and PacketCable 1.5/2.0 specifications, and DOCSIS/Euro-DOCSIS, PacketCable certification experience, and familiar with modifying DOCSIS/EMTA stack and driver including scan plan, country code etc. on multiple chipset platforms is a plus.
- Good knowledge of team work concept and has good communication skills
- Good skills in reading and composing documentation in English
- Good capability of learning new technical knowledge
