Job Description

We are looking for an application engineer in the AM/FM/digital reception car-radio field, who will work as part of the APG divisional team in Shenzhen. The main tasks are:
- to develop MCU-based control software to drive analog (AM, FM) and digital (DAB, DRM, HDradio) receivers;
- to develop DSP-based firmware (control firmware, digital signal processing firmware) for AM, FM receivers;
- to develop PC-based graphic user interfaces to drive and debug tuners and audio processors;
- to perform parametric adjustments and optimizations at the bench and in the field, in order to achieve the best possible tuner performance;
- to support customers located in China (mainly in Guangdong, Shanghai and Jiangsu), Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South America, Europe, at their premises where requested;
- to support customers when debugging tuner performance issues on the road (all the world).

Requirement

- more than two years of software development experience, preferred experience in tuner/car radio system/RDS/DAB experience
- proficiency in programming in C/C++, assembly language
- software development ability on MCU/DSP/ARM
- fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin
- with strong personal commitment to the activity, able to work well in a multi-cultural team and available for travel when on-site support is required.
