职位描述

The Director of Quality Assurance will be the leader and champion of the client’s quality expectations within PCH, and will be responsible for the design and achievement of the organisation’s goals with respect to quality of products and services across all services, including product design and development, contract manufacturing facilities, postponement, logistics and global supply chain. In so doing, the Director of Quality Assurance will also ensure compliance with all PCH standards, client specifications and product regulatory standards in the U.S. as well as elsewhere around the world. The Director of Quality Assurance will provide leadership and direction to an international team, located in Shenzhen, and will be responsible for the selection, motivation and oversight of the quality team, and for the achievement of the department’s goals.
The Director of Quality Assurance will possess outstanding operational experience and skills, including the demonstrated ability to design quality and regulatory goals and processes, and to provide positive motivation to his/her colleagues in implementing the processes and achieving the goals. With the appropriate operational experience, he/she will understand operating disciplines and how to set appropriate goals and how to measure and show relevant metrics for all areas of the clients involved in the production and delivery of products and services. Moreover, it will be critical to this individual’s success that he/she has a true collaborative approach to the achievement of goals, be team oriented and has a hands-on approach.
Essential to this role will be client-facing communications with senior customer personnel, both written and verbal. Managing, reporting, and driving quality improvements to achieve client quality KPIs is fundamental both through directing the PCH quality team and the suppliers’ quality team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Assure quality of products and services through product life-cycle from product development through to mass production and delivery.
2.Assure compliance with all client and ISO standards and applicable device regulations, and manage relationships with regulatory and standards-setting bodies.
3.Serve as a visible leader and role model.
4.Partner closely with the management team to set quality and regulatory objectives, and to achieve those objectives.
5.Lead a QA and regulatory compliance team.
6.Focus management on the appropriate metrics and actions based on those metrics across the organization, assuring effective tracking of operational performance.
7.Challenge all aspects of existing goals, processes and assumptions.
8.Articulate goals and expectations, and communicate effectively with the management team Provide positive motivation to all areas to implement processes and achieve goals with respect to quality of products and services

Ideal Experience:
1.Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with other strong personalities, including experience of client facing communications, setting expectations on quality deliverables, KPI’s and resolution of quality spills.
2.Total fluency in English is essential
3.Broad quality assurance and regulatory compliance background in the field of consumer electronics and, ideally, high end consumer soft and hard goods, with at least five years of international management experience and progressive leadership responsibility.
4.Experience in a growth-oriented, multi-national, manufacturing and supply chain organization.
5.Ability to challenge the paradigms for the way the business is being run, add vigor and discipline to the controls and processes.
6.Global perspective and international experience, including the ability to work effectively across a complex global footprint.
7.Success as a change agent and experience embedding a quality focus and culture across the whole organization.
8.Success in the design and management of world-wide product launches, involving regulatory compliance programs.
