Responsibilities:
? Participate in the product development process for new projects, support researching and identifying suitable equipment and processes to meet client specifications.
? Support new equipment selection and evaluation during initial stage together with PD team,
? Being the manufacturing representative to drive the key documentation like DFM, PFMEA, SOP, MIP are in place in different stage of NPI, to ensure good manufacturability are design in and ready for production ramp.
? New equipment/ fixture design with custom, include scheme feasibility analysis, build and technical discussion supervision with supplier.
? Lead machine modification, verify and apply new technical to current machine structure .
? Define preventive maintenance plan and implement prior to production ramp.
? Define the spare parts inventory plan prior to production to enable full utilization of production equipment etc.
? Define training process and provide sufficient training to relevant personal from contract manufacturer to ensure the smooth production ramp.
? Responsible for new equipment installation and commissioning for new development machine/ fixture.
? Drive yield improvement and problem solving that are equipment related during NPI, and provide support when necessary after mass production if needed.
? Identify automation opportunities for existing production lines, scoping and specifying equipment & collaborate with the industrial engineering and facility management teams on cycle time improvement and line balancing
? Perform other functions when needs
Rquirements:
? Bachelor Degree in mechanical/ automation engineering or advanced degree in related field
? 4+ years’experience in equipment/ fixture development or design, know well about equipment mechanical design and electric control
? 4+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing Equipment Engineering role with a demonstrated understanding of equipment controls, mechanical and electrical systems & processes
? Demonstrated hands on equipment problem solving capability and experience
? Know well about Servo system, pneumatic, hydraulic machine structure and control system, can do parts model selection
? Multiple project management skill, can handle multiple task at the same time with quick response.
? Experience of key Lean Manufacturing concepts, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
? Understanding of primary and secondary soft goods processing equipment such as die-cut, stitching, bonding, laser, emboss and heat bonding equipment, CNC etc. are a plus
? Experience of Lean Manufacturing concepts, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) are a plus
? Bilingual in Chinese and English, fluent in Oral English
? A good team player with other dept, good at communication
