Responsibilities:

-At the forefront of system support, provide technical support service and maintain client and other head
end broadcast systems and products to a high standard
-Maintenance of client and third party software on Linux and Windows based hosts
- Provide phone and site support as required by Service Level Agreement
-Coordinate with regional support staff to resolve technical issues/implement projects.

Requirements:

-Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines is preferred but not
mandatory. Preference will be given to those with a proven track record in the industry .
-Solid practical experience with a strong systems maintenance background.
-Fluency in written and spoken English and excellent interpersonal skills
-Understanding of Linux principles and practices including some basic shell scripting
-Knowledge of RedHat Linux system administration including clustering a MUST
-Knowledge of Oracle databases in a DBA role
-SQL literate
-Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
-Knowledge of MPEG/DVB preferred but not essential
-In depth networking knowledge with CCNP a plus
-Knowledge in broadcasting, pay TV industries an advantage
-Travelling, often at short notice within China is expected
-Able to pick up ideas quickly and be able to see things through to completion with minimum supervision
-Flexible, self motivated and well-organized
Remark: if you are interested this role based in Chengdu, it is able to relocate to Chengdu.
