MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES , DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop optical solution, including lenses, reflectors and hybrid systems, based on product
requirements
- Build prototype samples for testing purpose
- Test the optical design performance, i.e. function, temperatures, light output
- Provide feedback to the product engineers
- Investigate and develop new optical solutions to improve the product optical efficiency
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of experience on optical design for lighting applications
Solid background on LEDs and related technologies, especially the optical properties of various LEDs
Experience with light simulation softwares, like LightTools, and 3D design tools like Solidworks
Familiar with reflector and lens materials
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
University degree (preferably a Master's degree) in Physics or Electrical Engineering
Good oral and written English skills
