This position is responsible for the management of company’s internal QC team, including the coordination of production inspections at factories locations and testing services for the materials used. The QC Manager’s duty will be to ensure that the quality of the delivered product meets company’s set standards, according to technical specifications and approved samples, as well as international acceptable standards. The position refers to the Production Director.

Required Education, Training, & Experience
University Degree in Business administration, or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or QC management.
Minimum 10 years experience in Quality control as supervisor, or in a QC testing company.
Fluency in English language (oral/written).

Skills Required
1.Quality control testing and inspection experience preferably on bags/leather bags, or jewelry and metal parts .
2.Good knowledge of standard requirements of testing for China market.
3.Ability to work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, QC staff and company’s production teams.
4.Ability to coordinate and manage inspection staff and follow inspection planning.
5.Ability to work under pressure.

Duties
1.Selects and assigns staff for QC in every subcontractor, according to their abilities.
2.Prepares the weekly inspection plan, in coordination with the product departments, and assigns QC team to each factory, directing the work of subordinate employees, according to the work load.
3.Reviews all special inspection and material testing perform by third parties, and ensures all materials meet the required set standards.
4.Documents all inspection and testing in QC reports. Maintains records, prepares reports for the management, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
5.Prepares evaluation report for each subcontractor according to their quality performance on a 6-months basis.
6.In case a quality problem arises QC manager will be responsible for declaring that a product is not of the specified quality, and after meeting with subcontractor’s production staff to work out the root cause of the problem and decide whether current processes need to be changed.
7.QC manager will be responsible to reply on all quality and claims issues, that may arise from final customers and commercial departments, and resolve them in cooperation with production departments and production director.
