Responsibilities:

You will be part of a strong team that ensures that our products are of the highest quality for our customer base. Be part of the product development team and participate in the enterprise application server software engineering for Oracle. You will be responsible for product quality and have the opportunity to work with technical leaders and innovators in Java technologies.

You will apply your J2EE and Java programming experience to evaluate quality of the next generation of Oracle enterprise application software. You will be part of an innovative team to design and develop a new test framework for Oracle Fusion middleware product portfolio. Major responsibilities for this position include designing of test spec, implementing white-box test cases and analyzing quality of multiple products. The programs would be in Java/C++/Script language. Additional responsibilities include development of project test plans, analyzing risk trade-offs to programs and QA process improvement.

Test developers would contribute for major testing projects to define overall scope and monitor progress. Reviewing project documentation such as functional specs and design specs are also key responsibilities as well as providing technical information as necessary to other disciplines and providing test status reports to management

Qualifications/Necessary Skills

l Solid experience with Java in the industry with the ability to write elegant and clean code.

l 3+ years of product development in EJB/JDBC/Servlet/WebServices technologies

l Extensive knowledge in JEE 4/5 specs

l Strong shell script programming skills, familiar with Apache Ant and JUnit

l Skills of UNIX and/or Windows development and debugging

l System testing background with knowledge of basic testing techniques. Extensive testing of product features and development of automated testing environments for future regression testing

l Experience with troubleshooting product problems

l Must have excellent communication and writing skills in English

Desirable:

l Strong Object Oriented product design and development concepts

l Experience with Enterprise Level Applications, network and multi-threaded programming

l Experience with development of automated test tools

l Strong desire to innovate, strong sense of software quality assurance

l Familiar with HTML, HTTP, HTTPS, JSP and Java Security

l Knows Perl/Python/Shell programming

l Experience of WebLogic Server or other application servers
