• Manage supplier quality assurance process to meet requirements in terms of quality and time.

• Drive the continuous improvement of existing suppliers.

• Work as a Quality Project Manager to ensure quality improvement activities are on schedule, including corrective action, product testing, process changes for improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activity for supplier quality issues. Visit supplier regularly to verify corrective actions are still in use.
• Work closely Quality Assurance team in Atlanta, US to define measurable process and product characteristics.
• Work closely with Suppliers to ensure strong Control Plans, measurement plans and mistake-proofing.
• Ensure success PPAP approval. Supervise manufacturing activity during pre-production builds (engineering build, manufacturing build and pilot build).
• Coordinate to solve the problems of process/product/communication between supplier, 3rd party audit team, customer and sourcing team to ensure the shipment can be released on quality and on time.
• Perform regular QMS assessment and process control audit to drive continuous improvement.
• Verify product safety compliance according to regulatory requirements, ensure no product recall

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or related field of study
• 5 years above experience in manufacturing environment, 10 years above is preferred.
• Good knowledge in ISO9000 system, PFMEA, Control plan , SPC, DFM
• Experience on manufacture process, including plastic extrusion, tooling, stamping, polishing, injection and plating, fabric, etc.
• Experience with reviewing, approving and creating improvement plans for product submission packages (PPAP, FAI etc.).
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and simply. Must have strong interpersonal skills and cooperate well within a team.
• Experience performing manufacturing process audits at supplier locations; issuing corrective actions to suppliers and following up to ensure completion on schedule; performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Familar with Metal and Plastic home products
