Job Description

Contribute to a variety of projects in developing and sustaining software on ATCA systems, ranging from embedded software (boot loader, drivers, BSP, OS ) to customer application on Linux platform
Understand system requirements, define software architecture, implementation
Contribute to project estimation and planning.
Write software documentations
Cooperate with hardware engineer and test engineer.


Requirements

Soft skill requirement:
Strong Self-learning ability.
Good communication skills and team work spirit.
Be willing to work in a multi-tasking, multi-sites, high pressure environment.
Fluent English language communication skills (including verbal/writing/reading)

Technical requirement:
BS/MS in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering or appropriate equivalent experience, 8+ years working experience.
Skilled in C and script programming (python, perl, shell).
Solid understanding of u-boot, kernel, driver development and debugging.
Deep understanding of multiple Linux distributions (RedHat/WindRiver/Montavista) and cross development environment
Good understanding of PCI, PCIE, X86, X86_64 architecture
Virtualization, Orchestration, Cloud computing and hardware experience are plus.
Familiar with software configuration management tools, like Clearcase, and bug tracking tool, like ClearQuest.
Familiar with ATCA/AMC/COM-E spec, IPMI and Shelf Manager are a strong plus
Familiar with MIPS/PowerPC ISA is a plus
Familiar software automatic build tool(automake, autoconf) and software distributing tool(rpm, yum) are a plus
