职位描述
Position Summary:
The Eng'r will responsible for supporting development and commercialization of the products, including supplier development and oversight of suppliers' quality systems.
Responsibilities:
Handling Sourcing Projects for products and suppliers
Assist Manager in negotiating all necessary commercial/technical/quality issues in relation to needed products and sources.
Coordinate supplier visits and assessments for new suppliers as well as existing suppliers for new product launch.
Coordinate with Design team in US and China office to create 2D/3D dwg and specification.
Coordinate with US and China Quality team to develop quality control plan, inspection instructions, routine pre-shipment audit and corrective action complete.
Assist logistics team in China office on order tracking and shipment status.
Implementation of overall supplier development strategies.
Assist to create, refine and maintain supplier information database.
Support Manager & BUs on product development/ market trend/ and sourcing directions.
Effective communicate with BUs, conduct wkly conference call and provide status reports regularly.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
Degree/Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3years of related experience in Product Development and supplier sourcing.
Excellent understanding on injection molding, experience with molding glass-filled nylons a plus. Knowledge of mold design is a plus.
Understanding of Metal work and Metallurgy is preferred.
Knowledge in US markets is preferable.
Good experience in using MS Office, Outlook, and related computer software.
Self-motivated, good team worker and communication skills.
Good in both oral and written English is a MUST.
