POSITION SUMMARY:

This position requires strong integration and coordination of the functions with the sales and technical groups in order to provide excellent customer service.

This position provides consultative services of technical nature to customers and prospects in order to optimize their manufacturing processes utilizing Dymax products. This is to be accomplished by first understanding customer needs. Then, recommending the best products and processes. And finally,assisting the customer with successful implementation and ongoing support for both products and processes.

Excellent people skills, along with a strong sense of urgency and strong tactical skills are required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides consultative services in the Asia region to customers and prospects in order to optimize their manufacturing processes utilizing Dymax products. Needs for such services to be identified by Sales. Services to consist of, but not limited to:

- Light curing technology and dispensing education for prospects, customers, sales partners and integration companies.

- Assistance in specifying products (that work together)

- Hands on equipment installation assistance.

- Process and product troubleshooting (on site, via phone or e-mail).

- Coordination services for integration companies.

2. Educates Dymax Sales & Technical Teams and Sales Partners on Equipment (old and new) through joint calls, seminars/webinars and training sessions. First go-to person for technical inquiries regarding equipment.

3. Coordinates equipment product launches with Asia and Global Marketing Teams.

4. Builds and leverages alliances with co-suppliers (dispensing and curing), integration companies (custom machine builders) and complimentary equipment providers (ie; surface treatment) as needed to satisfy customers’ needs.

5. Develops complete solution concepts (dispensing, curing, automation) utilizing Dymax products in cooperation with co-suppliers or machine builders.

6. Develops and maintains familiarity with competitive curing and dispensing equipment. Knowledge base to include strengths/weaknesses, features and benefits. This includes also the education of Sales and Technical Teams regarding competitive products.

7. Coordinates with Sales and Application Engineering regarding customers’ applications.

8. Delivers customer feedback (voice of customer) to Marketing Manager Asia.

9. Documents case histories as examples of successful use of Dymax Edge.

10. Accomplishes all of the above via a strong sense of teamwork and at all times consistent with the Dymax vision/mission statements.

11. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree is required.

EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS: At least five years of experience in dispensing industry. Familiarity with light curing technology or adhesives industry is a plus.
