Requirement :

1.College degree,3-4 years professional experience in similar position;

2.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) in both English and Chinese are required

in dealing with vendors as well as all levels of staff;

3.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in managing inventory;

4.Familiar with quality standards and their application to the supplier base;

5.Familiar with modern purchasing methods and a creative thinker，full ERP knowledge (SAP is prefer).

Responsibilities:

1.Schedules the release of materials on purchase orders to support the MRP system. This includes increases and decreases to support higher inventory turns on commodity products, and working to minimize investment. Also providing rolling shared forecasts to suppliers

2.Expedites materials using internal reports as a mechanism to track shipments expected according to forecast in ERP system. Tracks any late shipments and expedites/resolves problems associated with late delivery.

3. Manages strategic sources of supply by negotiating bond reserve/safety stock situations for raw materials.

4.Advises Supply Chain Manager on all material issues as they relate to continuity of supply issues.

5.Sources electronics components and other raw materials to support redesigns, the introduction of new products to be launched and cost reduction strategic programs.

6.Continually reduces the supplier base to reduce administration costs and increase control over commodities purchased. Develops plans with Strategy Buyer that support this strategic direction.

7.Analyzes the raw material inventories on a weekly and monthly basis to provide solutions on increasing inventory turnover rate. Prepares and implements annual Inventory Action Plan with recommendations for improvements. Develops cost reduction action plans for raw materials with Strategy Buyer to support direction..

8.Participates in daily production team meetings to ensure that shortages are coordinated and schedules are met.

9.Gathers and maintains data relating to the Supplier Performance Management Program (eg. on-time delivery, price, etc.). Assists the Strategy Buyer with supplier performance reviews and in addressing any supplier related issues.

10.Performs Operative Buyer function consistent with department metrics and measurement (Cost savings, Inventory Turns, etc.).

11.Performs back-up functions for other Operative Buyers (eg. during periods of absence).

12.Contributes to a positive team environment within the organization.

13.Other responsibilities, functions, duties and projects as assigned by Supply Chain Manager.
