Responsibilities:

1. Provide operational and strategic seafreight purchasing solutions.

2. Implement in cooperation with shipping lines global/regional contracts that provide the lowest total cost.

3. Define and execute China seafreight purchasing projects and negotiate specific contracts with shipping lines where applicable.

4. Lead/Participate/contribute Seafreight purchasing related projects.

5. Manage shipping lines relations, problem solving and improvement actions at regional level.

6. Visiting and build solid relationships with shipping lines.

7. Provide supports to the regional sales force.

8. Manage general seafreight administrative functions.

9. Comparison for the ocean freight price of different shipping companies, help to keep company’s pricing advantage.

10. Create shipping lines catalogues and date maintenance.

11. Rate enquires management

12. Obtain competitive rates

13. Rate structuring and cost analyzing

14. Develop and maintain good relationship with carriers

15. Provide supports to the regional sales force

16. Report management

17. Participate seafreight/airfreight purchasing related projects

18. Create shipping lines catalogues and date maintenance.

Requirements:

Education Level:	College +, Logistics/Trade/English relative major
Language:	Fluently in Mandarin and English
Minimum Experience:	5 Years +
Field of Experience:	Experiences in sea freight/air freight procurement
Computer Skills:	Advanced level of computer literacy and office software
Others:	Strong and solid relationships with shipping/air lines Extensive industry experience in procurement Management and priority setting skills Self Managed & Result Driven Good communication and organization skills Ability to work in a process environment Extrovert personality with strong relationship building capabilities
